In the heart of the silent era's most beloved neighborhood, the Our Gang kids face a bureaucratic nightmare that threatens their canine companions. A sudden hydrophobia epidemic has the local authorities on high alert, demanding a five-dollar injection fee for every dog in town—a sum that might as well be a million dollars to a group of resourceful but penniless children. With the dogcatcher looming like a shadow over their makeshift playground, the gang refuses to surrender. Their solution is as absurd as it is desperate: a series of elaborate, logic-defying disguises.
