Uma Transformista Original
Summary
A chameleonic seamstress, stifled by the sepia strictures of early-1900s Rio, unpicks her own identity thread by thread; she smuggles herself into the masculine carnival of politics, gambling, and theatre, swapping bustles for starched collars, petticoats for panama hats, until the city itself becomes her mirrored mask. Each performance—dockside cardsharp, parliamentary ghost-writer, bohemian portrait model—leaves a trail of bruised hearts and forged signatures, culminating in a dawn duel on the sugar-coppery rooftops where the rising sun brands her silhouette into urban myth.
