A bustling street corner becomes the stage for a peculiar transaction when a fast-talking purveyor of a miraculous elixir known as "Hoak" targets a passing young woman. Despite her initial skepticism, the salesman's relentless pitch and the promise of wondrous attributes compel her to sample the potent concoction. However, a catastrophic misstep leads to her ingesting the incorrect dose, initiating a grotesque transformation: her limbs become unnervingly pliable, her gaze fixes into a wide-eyed, vacant stare, effectively rendering her a human ventriloquist dummy.
