Summary
In a frantic dash to embark on a family vacation, a hapless husband and his frazzled wife navigate a series of absurd misadventures. As they careen between their home and the wharf, a multitude of forgotten items - baby, tickets, and whatnot - necessitate repeated back-and-forth journeys. The wife's recollection of a curling iron left attached to the electric light circuit prompts yet another hasty return, only to be compounded by the husband's belated remembrance of a running bath tub. The couple's illogical assumption that these two oversights are not mutually exclusive culminates in a chaotic denouement, as they are met with a flood of water upon reentering their home.
Synopsis
Hubby, wifie, baby and maid are about to start on a vacation trip. Of course everything goes wrong and various articles are forgotten at the last moment. Hubby speeds in a taxi ceaselessly between the wharf and his home, baby, tickets and so forth having been forgotten. Then, when everything seems set, wifie remembers that the curling iron was left attached to the electric light circuit and hubby recalls that he left the water running in the bath tub. Evidently they don't figure that one nullifies the other, for back they speed again and open the door to be overwhelmed by a flood of water.
