Biography
Frank Elliott drew his first breath on 11 February 1880 amid the hedgerows of Cheshire, England, then traded English mist for California sun. Between silent-era flickers and talkie transitions, he slipped into the skins of rogues and romantics in *Once to Every Woman* (1920), *Gentle Julia* (1923), and Hitchcock’s early gem *Easy Virtue* (1928). Off-screen, he shared his life—and a transatlantic address book—with Dorothy Griffin. Ninety springs and several continents later, his story closed in Los Angeles during July 1970.
