A visionary force of the theatrical and cinematic worlds, Fritz Kortner began his journey on May 12, 1892, in Vienna. As a commanding actor and an innovative director, he left an enduring mark on film history with his roles in the silent era's 'Pandora's Box' (1929), the vibrant 'Chu Chin Chow' (1934), and the suspenseful 'Somewhere in the Night' (1946).
