Biography
Chicago whistled up a first act on 3 May 1886, delivering Sidney D'Albrook to its windy streets. By the silent-era spotlight he had traded the Midwest chill for flicker-film fame, slipping into the shoes of a seductive composer in *The Dancer’s Peril* (1917), brawling through the snow-blasted Yukon in *Call of the Wild* (1923), and steering river-raft thrills in *The Fighting Guide* (1922).
