Biography
Indianapolis greeted Thomas G. Lingham on 7 April 1874, and from that Midwestern springboard he built a screen career that flickered across the Roaring Twenties. Audiences remember him as the grizzled presence in 1923’s *The Lone Star Ranger*, the voice of foreboding in 1929’s *The Fatal Warning*, and the steadfast patriarch of *Two Sisters*, released that same pivotal year. Off-camera he shared his life with actress Katherine Goodrich. On 19 February 1950 the lights dimmed for good in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, closing the final reel on a journey that began in Indiana and ended among the soundstages of California.
