Biography
August 6, 1892: Augusta, Arkansas welcomed a restless storyteller named Victor Rodman. Within two decades he had slipped behind the camera, scripting and starring in the one-reel shocker The Last Chapter (1914), followed by the raucous rural caper The Hicksville Tragedy Troupe (1915) and the matrimonial chess match Trapping the Bachelor (1916). After the flickers faded, Rodman’s footprints led west; he spent his final sunrise in Los Angeles, California, closing the curtain on June 29, 1965.
