By the Law

Lev Kuleshov’s "By the Law" is not merely a tale of survival, but a harrowing descent into the moral abyss of human nature, set against the brutal, indifferent backdrop of the Yukon wilderness. When a five-person gold prospecting venture suddenly erupts in a double murder committed by one of their own, the fragile veneer of civilization shatters. The two remaining survivors, a husband and wife, manage to subdue the killer.
