Dancing Daddy

In the bustling backdrop of the Jazz Age, a provincial squire, driven by antiquated notions of familial honor, embarks on a misguided crusade to disentangle his son from a rumored engagement to a city chorus girl. His drastic solution? To personally intervene and, if necessary, marry the girl himself, thus 'saving' his son from a perceived social misstep. Upon arrival, the well-meaning but utterly out-of-his-depth patriarch swiftly employs his charm, securing the chorus girl’s promise of marriage. However, this hastily constructed plan unravels spectacularly when he discovers his son is, in fact, already married to another woman. The squire then finds himself ensnared in a farcical predicament, desperately attempting to extricate himself from the clutches of the cunning chorus girl and her equally opportunistic brother, leading to a cascade of comedic complications and escalating absurdity.
