Summary
Córdoba’s ochre sierras cradle a ménage as brittle as spun caramel: Fabián, the provincial dandy with patent-leather hair, parades betrothed pride beside Rina, whose gaze already drifts toward Germán’s predatory swagger. When the latter’s desire sours into desertion upon the scandal of pregnancy, the town’s limestone arcades echo with whispers sharp enough to flay stone. What follows is not moral melodrama but a fevered fresco of ruptured ritual—church bells clang like cracked cisterns, peach blossoms rot on the branch, and the camera lingers on a bruised female silhouette trudging through dust that swallows footsteps as greedily as reputations. In this silent Argentine parable, shame is a public orchard where every townsfolk plucks a succulent peach of gossip, leaving the fallen woman seed-bare under a sky the colour of pewter rosaries.
