Summary
In a sun-blasted street of flaking clapboard and buzzing cicadas, Billy—needle-for-hire with a roving eye—measures inseams by day and trouble by night. His tape brushes the silk of a married woman’s calf; her eyelash answers with a flicker that promises more than alterations. The husband, a slab of jealousy in suspenders, oils his revolver the way a vintner swirls a glass, inhaling catastrophe before the first sip. What follows is a slapstick danse macabre: a chase through linen racks, a sewing machine turned Gatling, and a final wink exchanged between lovers while the cuckold’s shadow lengthens like a noose that forgets to tighten.
Synopsis
Billy is a tailor who flirts with another man's wife, until the husband gets a gun after him.
