Synopsis
Engaged to African explorer Anthony Blunt, Pamela Gordon grows tired of waiting and becomes engaged to MackIntosh Josephs. Blunt returns, and he and Pamela decide to elope to Bermuda. To deceive MackIntosh, Pamela has Blunt pretend to make love to her hoydenish sister, Diana. The latter believes him and with the aid of Amelia Pincent, the girls' spinster chaperon, locks up Pamela in a closet and goes in her place aboard ship. The next day, Blunt discovers the substitution and is shocked. To get back at him, Diana, using her sister's trousseau, transforms herself into the ship's most popular female. Blunt becomes jealous. Complications arise when all the passengers are quarantined for a week on Quarantine Island, with the "honeymooners" put in a tiny cottage for privacy. When the quarantine is lifted, Diana marries Blunt, leaving Pamela to MackIntosh.
