Summary
In a bold and audacious maneuver, the intrepid Polly orchestrates her own incarceration within the walls of a state reformatory, a calculated act of self-sacrifice born from a deep-seated conviction that an official investigative committee has callously whitewashed the grim realities festering within the institution. Disgusted by the sanitized findings of a supposedly impartial inquiry, Polly, a beacon of unyielding moral fortitude, resolves to penetrate the system from within, to become an eyewitness to the systemic abuses and squalid conditions that have been conveniently swept under the rug. Her deliberate descent into the belly of the beast is a high-stakes gamble, a perilous undercover operation designed to expose the unvarnished truth about the treatment of its inmates, thereby challenging the very foundations of a seemingly benevolent but ultimately corrupt administrative apparatus. This audacious infiltration transforms her from an external observer into an internal agent of change, risking personal liberty and dignity to shed light on the plight of the voiceless, all to bring forth an authentic, damning indictment of institutional failure.
Synopsis
