Predatel

Set against the volatile backdrop of early 20th-century Russia, Predatel (The Traitor) is a clinical dissection of espionage and the ultimate price of duplicity. The narrative centers on a calculated deep-cover agent for the Tsarist Okhrana who successfully infiltrates a cell of Bolshevik sailors. By masquerading as a fellow revolutionary, he manipulates their trust and orchestrates a series of betrayals that lead to the crushing of their dissent. However, the wheel of history turns faster than the agent anticipates. Following the 1917 Revolution, the power dynamics are violently inverted. The former hunter becomes the prey as the sailors, now empowered by the new Soviet regime, track down their betrayer to exact a cold, institutionalized justice. It is a story of a man who gambled on the wrong side of history and found that no amount of disguise could protect him from the collective memory of the working class.
