"Duke" Gordon (Robert Armstrong), a circus lion-tamer, tries to tame his wife, Laura (Sally Eilers), just as he does his lions. But, she is a one-man woman, married to the wrong man, but refuses to cheat on her cheating husband even though her happiness depends on doing so.


Is it worth it? If you have a thing for dusty, black-and-white dramas where everyone is constantly shouting or looking miserable, sure, give it a go. It’s not exactly a barrel of laughs.
