Shell Socked

A classic WWI-era romantic entanglement forms the core of "Shell Socked," where the affections of Vera, a Red Cross volunteer, become the unlikely prize in a clandestine rivalry among soldiers. Jimmie, one of her admirers, finds himself the target of a deceptive plot orchestrated by two jealous comrades. They conspire to dispatch him on a perilous mission, believing it will remove him from the romantic equation. However, their scheme takes an unexpected turn when the true nature of Jimmie's assignment is revealed: he is tasked with escorting Vera to her father, the formidable commanding general, prompting an immediate and frantic reversal of their intentions as the rivals now desperately seek to join the very mission they concocted to avoid.
