Summary
In Snookums' Tooth, the domestic tranquility of the suburban household is sacrificed at the altar of a toddler's whims. Lovey and Dovey, a couple defined by their suffocating devotion to their child, find themselves in a state of perpetual servitude to Snookums. The narrative revolves around the child's first birthday party, an event that should be a milestone but instead devolves into a frantic comedy of errors. When a series of coincidences leads Lovey to believe that her precious Snookums has been abducted, the film pivots from a static domestic comedy into a high-octane, albeit clumsy, chase sequence. The film explores the early cinematic obsession with the 'spoiled child' trope, where the parents' incompetence is the primary engine for the plot's chaotic progression.
