Summary
Born of celestial lineage, a prince finds himself unexpectedly fostered in the humble abode of a woodcutter, far removed from the grandeur of his birthright. Yet, this rustic upbringing, instead of instilling humility, fosters an egregious arrogance, transforming the young royal into a figure of insufferable cruelty. His callous disregard for others, particularly the vulnerable, incurs the wrath of a benevolent fairy, who, in a profound act of karmic retribution, strips him of his regal beauty and reduces him to the abject state of a pauper. This harrowing transformation initiates a profound odyssey of self-discovery and penance. Shorn of his former splendor, he embarks upon a quest for his true maternal origins, a journey fraught with peril and self-reflection. Along this arduous path, fate intervenes, presenting him with an opportunity for genuine heroism: he encounters a princess imperiled by the malevolent machinations of a grotesque dwarf. Through an act of selfless courage, he vanquishes the nefarious creature, rescuing the princess from her dire predicament. This pivotal display of intrinsic goodness, rather than superficial charm, redeems him in the eyes of the fairy, who, witnessing his profound metamorphosis, restores his inherent princely form. Consequently, he ascends to his rightful place, marrying the grateful princess and witnessing the dwarf's ignominious transmogrification into a mere pig, a fitting end for such a villain.
