What's Bred... Comes Out in the Flesh
Summary
A magistrate cloaked in ermine sanctimony—pillar of London’s marble-halled justice—unknowingly presides over the very murder his own hands committed under a moon lacquered with absinthe fog. The bench becomes a confessional; the wig, a crown of thorns. A Romany clairvoyante, all coins and candle-smoke, tilts the mirror of conscience until every gavel strike boomerangs back like a guillotine. The courtroom, once a cathedral of order, mutates into a danse macabre where statutes crumble into superstition and blood outruns ink.
Synopsis
A judge tries a man for his own crime but confesses in court when a gypsy makes him 'see' events.
