In a wind‑blown Danish coastal town, the Bruun family confronts the fragile edifice of honor that has defined them for generations. The patriarch, Cajus Bruun, a respected merchant, faces a scandal when an illicit correspondence between his son Hugo and a young woman named Nathalie Krause surfaces.
