This brazen abduction ignites a frantic pursuit, with Lige, joined by Daisy’s understandably distraught parents, giving chase across the water. The ensuing rescue is a spectacle of slapstick and physical comedy, marked by considerable discomfort and hurried heroism for Lige and his companions, culminating in Daisy’s safe, if unceremonious, return.
