The Gallopin' Gaucho

Released in 1928, "The Gallopin' Gaucho" is an early black-and-white animated short and one of Mickey Mouse's foundational screen appearances. The narrative follows Mickey, a spirited gaucho, as he arrives at a bustling cantina and engages in a lively tango with Minnie Mouse. Their dance is abruptly interrupted when a villainous, large cat abducts Minnie. Mickey immediately gives chase, comically mounted on a rather uncooperative and seemingly inebriated ostrich.
