The Part Time Wife

In this cinematic exploration of matrimony and professional identity, Doris Fuller, a luminary of the silver screen, navigates the intricacies of her relationship with Kenneth Scott, a newspaperman of modest means. Their union is marked by a disparity in earnings, which precipitates a crisis of pride for Kenneth. Doris, in an effort to alleviate his distress, relinquishes her career to become his 'full-time' wife. However, as she witnesses Kenneth's struggles to craft a play to bolster their finances, she returns to the screen. Kenneth, erroneously convinced of Doris's infidelity with her leading man, DeWitt Courtney, redirects his attention to Nita Northrup, a rising starlet.
