Summary
Bob Benson, a lone drifter of the western frontier, rides into the arid expanses of New Mexico and uncovers a concealed portal leading to the Pueblo Indians' sacred memorial altar chamber. Within its dimly lit sanctum, he finds Ruth Bryson, a genteel woman ensnared by forces that appear at first glance to be tribal, yet the true menace emanates from two white conspirators whose motives intertwine greed, betrayal, and a twisted sense of entitlement. Benson, compelled by a blend of gallantry and restless curiosity, resolves to intervene, setting in motion a collision of cultures, loyalties, and hidden agendas that reverberates through the desert's silent dunes.
