
Summary
In the midst of a treacherous love triangle, Annette finds herself bound to the nefarious Paul Gerard by her father Gaston's manipulative designs, after Gerard becomes a witness to Gaston's brutal murder of Indian Charlie. As Annette's despair deepens, she contemplates a drastic escape from her fate, but in a stunning turn of events, Gerard unwittingly seals his own demise by drinking the poison intended for Annette. Subsequently, Annette is wrongly convicted of murder and faces execution, only to be saved by a miraculous avalanche that not only destroys the gallows but also claims Gaston's life. The villagers, interpreting this cataclysmic event as a divine sign of Annette's innocence, release her from her sentence, paving the way for her union with the devoted Sheriff André Porel.
Synopsis
Annette is in love with Sheriff André Porel, but her father Gaston, promises her to Paul Gerard, after Gerard witnesses Gaston kill Indian Charlie. Despondent, Annette considers suicide, but Gerard drinks the poison by mistake. Annette is convicted of murder and is being led to her execution by André when an avalanche buries the gallows and Gaston.
