The Wanters

Elliot Worthington, a scion of privilege, becomes enamored with Myra, the unassuming maid employed by his sister. When Myra is dismissed without explanation, Elliot tracks her down, offering a marriage proposal that defies the rigid class boundaries of his world. The couple returns to his opulent household, where Myra is met with cold disdain from relatives and the hypocritical snobbery of Elliot's affluent acquaintances.
