Summary

The boy, half-poet, half-colt, discovers both a surrogate hearth and a target on his back when the same oil-hungry wolves circle, branding irons glinting like molars. What follows is a cyclone of hoofbeats, longing, and ricocheting justice: the youth courts danger in a white-hot stampede of fists and six-guns, while the rancher’s matriarch trades her loneliness for a pulse that gallops louder than hoof-thunder. Synopsis

After being tricked into a sale of their land which is oil rich, a couple moves to a ranch whose owner falls in love with their son, who is able to fight off the gang that had stolen their property.
