In the shadow of Weimar Germany's moral decay, Unter Ausschluß der Öffentlichkeit presents a chilling portrait of predatory manipulation and social descent. Ibrahim Hulam, a man whose wealth is built upon the exploitation of women, finds himself captivated by Anita von Schlenk, a dancer at the Imperial Palace whose high-born lineage offers a prize beyond mere profit. When Anita proves resistant to his direct advances, Hulam pivots to a more insidious strategy. He identifies the vulnerability in her father, Eberhard, and entangles him in a web of fraudulent financial exchanges.
