Waiting

Lloyd, a man down on his luck and facing destitution, secures a menial position as a dishwasher in a bustling, upscale eatery. Through a stroke of unexpected fortune or perhaps sheer necessity, he finds himself elevated to the role of a waiter. This newfound, albeit precarious, professional standing is immediately tested when his personal nemesis arrives with his paramour for a celebratory meal. The stage is thus set for a public confrontation, culminating in Lloyd’s desperate act of defiance involving the accidental (or intentional) redecoration of his rival with the restaurant’s finest fare, before an audacious, triumphant exit with the girl by his side.
