Biography
January 9, 1875, New York City’s electric streets welcomed William A. Carroll into the world. By his mid-forties he had slipped seamlessly onto the silent screen, lending his presence to Danger Within (1918), then slipping into the shoes of Bill Henry (1919) and chasing frontier dreams in The Blue Bonnet that same year. When the final curtain fell, he was 53, and Glendale, California, became his resting place on January 26, 1928.
