Biography
Edwin Carewe, 38 and twice-a-husband already, wed 17-year-old Mary Akin while memories of his first, undocumented 1905 marriage were still dissolving. Their first union produced Sally Ann in 1925 and William two years later; after a split and reunion, Carol Lee arrived in 1932, sealing the encore marriage with a newborn cry.
