Summary
In a scathing critique of canine complacency, Felix Out of Luck presents a hapless feline protagonist, replete with fastidious tastes, who spurns a succession of succulent offerings - a medley of savory bones and a tantalizing mouse - predicated on the assumption that a veritable gastronomic nirvana awaits him at his domicile. However, upon his return, he is confronted with a disquieting notice from his proprietor, informing him of a seven-day absence, thereby precipitating a frantic search for the erstwhile proffered repasts. Regrettably, his endeavors are thwarted by a thieving canine interloper and an intractable rodent, thus underscoring the vicissitudes of feline existence.
Synopsis
Felix turns down several delectable meals--including some juicy bones and a nice mouse--because he says he's got a great meal waiting for him at home. However, when he gets there he sees a notice from his owner that says, "Be back in a week". He goes back looking for the bones but finds that a dog has already taken them, and the mouse isn't cooperating at all.
