Flaming Flappers

“Flaming Flappers” chronicles the lighthearted escapades of Glen, a spirited co-ed whose campus romance culminates in an engagement. This joyful news, however, is prematurely relayed to his family by his sister, setting the stage for domestic upheaval. As Glen and his intended embark on a journey home in a comically dilapidated automobile, their progress is marked by a series of mechanical woes and slapstick struggles to keep the vehicle operational. Adding an unexpected twist to their already eventful trip, the couple makes the impulsive decision to adopt an orphan baby. The film’s comedic essence largely stems from Glen’s frantic attempts to manage the rickety car and the ensuing pandemonium and bewildered reactions that erupt upon their arrival home, baby in tow, plunging his family into a delightful state of confusion and comedic disarray.
