In a tangled web of deceit and retribution, Mensch gegen Mensch unravels the tale of Coupot, a disgruntled bank employee, and his paramour Juliette, who forge an alliance with the cunning industrialist van Kamp. This Faustian bargain costs them their livelihoods, precipitating a maelstrom of ire and desperation within Coupot. He subsequently becomes an initiate of the clandestine organization 'Omnium', a cabal of like-minded individuals hell-bent on exacting revenge on van Kamp. As Coupot navigates this perilous landscape, his actions become increasingly surreptitious and Machiavellian, blurring the lines between justice and vendetta.
