Moving Day

In 'Moving Day', Helen and Warren, a couple seeking respite from urban life, orchestrate a move from their New York apartment to a seemingly idyllic suburban home. Their aspirations for a fresh start are immediately challenged by a relentless downpour, which coincides with the arrival of Warren's brother and his family, who are themselves seeking refuge after financial setbacks. The logistical nightmare quickly escalates as the movers, unable to access the locked new residence, leave all their worldly possessions exposed to the elements under a woefully inadequate, leaky canvas. Upon finally gaining entry, Helen and Warren discover their new abode is less a sanctuary and more a structural sieve, mirroring the rapid disintegration of their suburban dream.
