Picking Peaches

In a tangled web of deceit and desire, a shoe clerk's dalliance with a customer sets off a chain reaction of events that expose the fault lines in his marriage and his own character. The clerk's wife, oblivious to his infidelity, catches him in the act with his paramour at the beach and a beauty contest, where the latter is participating. The pageant winner subsequently appears at the clerk's workplace to claim her prize, further entangling the threads of his life. A hospital visit does little to chasten him, as he remains fixated on a peach, symbolizing his unrepentant nature.
