A kinetic fever-dream stitched from smoke and gunpowder, Stopping Bullets unfurls inside a nameless border town where dusk itself seems to bleed. Sally, a carnival sharpshooter turned reluctant guardian, patrols the half-lit rooftops while her former lover Napoleon—now a bullet-scarred poet with a bounty on every heartbeat—smuggles contraband hope through sewer tunnels.
