Charlie, a renowned divorce attorney, finds his meticulously constructed professional facade hilariously unraveling when his wife inadvertently witnesses his demonstration of how to stage a compromising situation for a client. Misinterpreting the staged infidelity as genuine, she triggers a chain of farcical events. With the dubious assistance of a doctor friend, Charlie manages to dispatch his distressed wife to the countryside for a 'rest cure.'
