Ten Years Old

In the whimsical, often chaotic world of childhood celebrations, Joe Cobb finds his eagerly anticipated tenth birthday party facing an existential crisis: every invited guest has instead flocked to the more popular Jackie's concurrent gathering. A diplomatic, albeit reluctant, merger of the two festivities ensues, bringing Joe's homemade birthday cake, a symbol of his earnest effort, into the shared spotlight. Unbeknownst to Joe, or any of the unsuspecting partygoers, the mischievous Mildred has surreptitiously doctored the batter with an assortment of decidedly inedible objects, including tacks and a rubber tube, setting the stage for a comedic and cringe-inducing culinary disaster that underscores the film's playful exploration of childhood rivalries and unintended consequences.
