In the shimmering, hedonistic heart of late-1920s Berlin, Egon Furst believes he has ascended to a secular heaven. His new post as the manager of a high-end fashion house places him in charge of ten of the city’s most striking models, a role that promises prestige and visual delight. However, the equilibrium of this silk-and-sequin sanctuary is shattered when a literal princess, desperate to escape the suffocating possessiveness of a jealous suitor, adopts a mask and infiltrates Egon’s roster of mannequins. What begins as a professional coup for Egon rapidly devolves into a logistical nightmare. As the princess navigates the world of commercial beauty under her anonymous veil, Egon finds himself entangled in a web of aristocratic scandals, professional jealousies, and the realization that managing beauty is far less complicated than managing the truth.
