Biography
On 12 October 1881, Berlin, Wisconsin, welcomed William Nigh into the world; sixty-four years later, Burbank, California, closed the curtain on his story. Between those two dates he built a career behind and in front of the camera, guiding films such as the 1924 society drama Born Rich, the 1916 cliff-hanger Notorious Gallagher; or, His Great Triumph, and the 1921 campus comedy School Days.
