A Woman's Man

A locomotive carries the resurrected prospector through night and nickel-light, arriving as Maria, veiled in satin, stands ready to wed the fraud. In a ballroom that reeks of gardenias and complicity, Larry brandishes proof: the deed is a theatrical fraud. A confession ricochets off marble pillars; the villain collapses like a marionette with cut strings.
