Summary

The climax detonates inside the mill: turbines howl, acid steams, and Hutch—clad in oilskins and grinning like a man who’s already died twice today—rides a torrent of pulp slurry down a chute, snatching the recovered parchment mid-slide, only to somersault through a skylight onto the banker’s own balcony, contract in hand, demanding the mortgage be torn before the ink of dawn dries.
Synopsis
