Summary
The vast ochre canvas of the outback is splintered by hoofbeats as two restless Marsden siblings—Dick and Jim—slip the noose of respectability and gallop headlong into legend beside the flamboyant, silver-helmed renegade who calls himself Captain Starlight. Between dusk-drenched goldfields that glitter like shattered suns and gum-shadowed gullies humming with police carbines, the brothers court peril and two fiercely independent women whose glances promise both salvation and ruin. Their trajectory arcs from cattle-duffing jubilation to the sulphurous crack of a final volley that topples Starlight beneath a bruised colonial sky; manacles click shut, and the myth is caged—yet the campfire ballads refuse to die.
Synopsis
