Summary
A tender, fragile soul, the young daughter of a valorous army captain lost to the ravages of war, finds herself adrift from the structured sanctuary of her boarding school. Her innocent yearning for her absent father tragically propels her into the labyrinthine underbelly of Belle Époque Paris, where she falls prey to a syndicate of hardened urban miscreants. The architect of her abduction, a callous figure named Louis Leubas, spirits the child away to the sun-drenched shores of Nice, a stark geographical and moral contrast to the grimy capital. Synopsis
The young daughter of an army captain missing in action runs away from school and is kidnapped by Parisian lowlifes. When the kidnapper flees to Nice with the child, the kind-hearted employee of one of his accomplices sets off in pursuit.
