Summary
In a world where social standing and material wealth are paramount, Charles 'Beauty' Steele, a high-society attorney, finds his life unraveling as his wife leaves him due to his excessive drinking and arrogant demeanor. Simultaneously, his brother-in-law embezzles funds from one of Steele's clients, prompting Steele to embark on a perilous journey to track down the thief. After being brutally attacked and left for dead, Steele is rescued by a compassionate couple, but his newfound solace is short-lived as he suffers from amnesia. Synopsis
Snobbish attorney Charles 'Beauty' Steele loses his wife due to his drinking and his airs at the same time that his brother-in-law absconds with funds belonging to one of Steele's clients. In search of the thief, Steele is attacked and left for dead. He is rescued by a kind couple, but suffers from amnesia. He starts life afresh and is happy, until the return of his memory sends him back to resolve his old involvements.
